CJP Series Compact Needle Pneumatic Cylinder
The CJP Series Needle Pneumatic Cylinder is a compact linear actuator designed for machines and pneumatic mechanisms where installation space is extremely limited.
Its slim threaded-body structure allows the cylinder to be installed directly through a panel or inserted into a machine component. This makes it particularly suitable for short-stroke positioning, ejecting, stopping, clamping and component-separation operations.
The series is available with 6 mm, 10 mm and 15 mm bore sizes and strokes from 0 to 30 mm. Both double-acting and single-acting pull-in configurations are available.
Customers can also choose between a threaded or non-threaded piston-rod end according to the connection method required by their equipment.

Key Features

Ultra-Compact Needle Design

The narrow cylindrical body requires considerably less installation space than many conventional square or tie-rod cylinders.
It is suitable for use inside:
  • Compact machine frames
  • Small assembly fixtures
  • Tooling plates
  • Inspection systems
  • Electronic-component equipment
  • Packaging mechanisms

Three Bore Sizes

The CJP Series is available with the following bore diameters:
  • 6 mm
  • 10 mm
  • 15 mm
This range allows designers to select a compact cylinder according to the required force and available mounting space.

Short-Stroke Operation

Available strokes range from 0 to 30 mm, making the cylinder suitable for precise short-distance movements such as stopping, pushing, ejecting and locating.

Double-Acting and Single-Acting Options

The series supports:
  • Double-acting operation
  • Single-acting pull-in operation
A double-acting model uses compressed air for both extension and retraction. The single-acting pull-in model uses air pressure in one direction and an internal return mechanism for the opposite movement.

Panel or Insert Mounting

Two principal mounting configurations are shown:
  • CJPB: Panel-mount type
  • CJPS: Plug or insert-mount type
The threaded external body allows the cylinder to be secured directly in a panel or inserted into a suitable machine component.

Optional Piston-Rod Thread

The piston rod can be supplied with or without an external connection thread:
  • Blank code: with piston-rod thread
  • B code: without piston-rod thread
The threaded version facilitates connection to a workpiece, bracket or mechanical linkage. The non-threaded version is suitable for direct pushing, stopping or contact operations.

Simple Non-Cushioned Construction

The product does not incorporate pneumatic end cushioning. Its simple construction is well suited to lightweight, short-stroke and relatively low-impact applications.
