AF Series Pneumatic Air Filter
Reliable Compressed Air Filtration for Pneumatic Systems The AF Series pneumatic air filter is designed to remove solid particles, pipe scale, rust, and condensed moisture from compressed air before they enter downstream pneumatic components.
The series is available with semi-automatic or automatic drainage. Multiple body sizes and airflow capacities allow users to select an appropriate filter for compact machinery as well as higher-flow industrial pneumatic systems.
Key Product Features
40 μm Filtration
The standard filter element removes solid contaminants larger than approximately 40 μm from compressed air. This filtration level is suitable for general industrial pneumatic applications.
Efficient Moisture Separation
The internal airflow structure helps separate condensed water and larger contaminant particles from the compressed air. Collected moisture and debris settle in the filter bowl for drainage.
Maximum Operating Pressure of 1.0 MPa
The AF Series is designed for pneumatic systems operating at pressures up to 1.0 MPa, equivalent to 10 bar or 145 psi.
Proof Pressure of 1.5 MPa
The filter has a proof-pressure rating of 1.5 MPa, equivalent to 15 bar or 217.5 psi.
Proof pressure is a structural test value and must not be used as the normal operating pressure.
Wide Range of Port Sizes
Available port connections range from M5 to 1 inch, making the series suitable for compact pneumatic equipment and high-flow industrial systems.
Semi-Automatic and Automatic Drain Options
The standard configuration uses a semi-automatic drainage system. Automatic-drain models are available for applications where frequent manual drainage is inconvenient.
Transparent Polycarbonate Bowl
The transparent PC bowl allows operators to observe the accumulated condensate level and check the general condition of the filter.
Bowl Guard on Larger Models
AF3000, AF4000, and AF5000 Series filters are equipped with a protective bowl cover. The guard helps protect the polycarbonate bowl from accidental mechanical impact.
Modular Air-Treatment Design
The AF filter can be used as an independent filtration unit or combined with compatible pressure regulators and lubricators to create a complete FRL air-preparation system.
